Why have your wedding on the Outer Banks of North Carolina?

If you have not visited these windswept beaches, you will be amazed at the stunning backdrops for ocean-side weddings at sunset or sunrise and all time in between. I am indeed fortunate to be able to be a part of this magnificent coastal hideaway where spirits are renewed and minds refreshed.

The Outer Banks is a major wedding destination not only for many who have grown up vacationing on the beaches but also for those adventurous couples who want an experience. Your guests will marvel at these narrow strips of barrier islands that mix the past with the present into a well-kept balance of solitude and activity that is perfect for the most memorable day of your life.

Most couples choose to marry on the beach near their rental homes or hotel. There are also many public access areas that work well since they offer plenty of parking and handicap access. Whatever the location, the surf, sand, invigorating salt air and the song of the seagulls will make your seaside ceremony a lasting remembrance. I perform in all Dare and Currituck County locations including: Carova, Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo, Salvo, Waves, Rodanthe, Avon, Buxton and Hatteras Village. If time allows, I will travel to Ocracoke Island.

I also perform ceremonies at other OBX enchanting venues that include several historic lighthouses, the Elizabethan Gardens, Roanoke Island Festival Park and Jennette’s Pier.  Should your ceremony be during the winter months, there are many beautiful and unique rental homes whose great rooms offer breathtaking views of the ocean.

Whatever the location, it is always my honor, as an Outer Banks Wedding Ceremony Officiant, to create a ceremony that will be a lasting remembrance for you and your guests and to celebrate your love and union in a very unique way from Corolla to Hatteras and Ocracoke Islands and all areas in between. Once the booking is confirmed, I will email you a selection of sample wedding ceremonies for your consideration.
